Keep public dollars in public schools - Demand polibies that prevent taxpayer dollars from funding private schools through a voucher system that lacks transparency and educational accountability.
Literacy by third grade - prioritizing funding for full-day pre-kindergarten school for at-risk students
Comprehensive school safety legislation, including policies to improve access to Texas School Saftey Center programs and services and funding for hardening of school facilities
Comprehensive student mental health plan of programs and services to help students in need of mental health intervention
Funding for special education services sufficient to address the Federal Government's corrective action
Support policies to strengthen anti-cyberbullying laws
Support legislation to limit youth access to tobacco products - including e-cigarettes and vaping/juuling devices - through social sources such as older high school students
Support legislation requiring school districts to report the number of unvaccinated students in each school so families can make the safest school-placement decision for medically vulnerable children.
